McCreath AccountancyWorking with you to grow your business

Pay the right corporation tax, and not a penny more

Every limited company must file a corporation tax return (CT600) and pay any tax due on time. We handle the return alongside your year-end accounts so nothing is missed.

Planning ahead, not just filing

A quick review before your year-end can show whether a pension contribution, an equipment purchase or a change to how you pay yourself would lower your bill.

Prefer to talk it through in person? We’ll sit down with you at our office or come out to you.

What's included

  • Corporation tax computation and CT600 return
  • Capital allowance claims, including the Annual Investment Allowance

Why small businesses choose us

We talk your tax through in a way that makes sense to you, and tell you about savings before your year-end, not after. Companies across Renfrewshire, Glasgow and the Western Isles trust our Linwood and Stornoway teams with their tax.

Common questions

When do I need to pay corporation tax?

For most small companies, corporation tax is due 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period. The return itself is due 12 months after the period ends.

Can you help me reduce my corporation tax bill?

Yes. We look at allowances, pension contributions, the timing of purchases and how you take money out of the company, and explain the options before your year-end.

Do you deal with HMRC for me?

Yes. We act as your agent, file your return and deal with any HMRC questions.
